Victorian Blue Light Located close to the centre of Maldon Township, the camp was built in 1987 at a cost of $1.8 million, being designed to replicate the style of the original Derby Hill Gold Mine, located at the site. In 1990 Victorian Blue Light Youth Camps Inc. was acquired from the Victorian Government by the Victorian Blue Light State Council and developed as a school camp. |

The camp can comfortably accommodate up to 100 guests in numerous units. Many on-site and off-site activities are available to students and teachers, including Rock Climbing, Archery, Basketball, Bicycle Riding, Ball Games, Initiative Games, Obstacle Course, Pool Table & Table Tennis, Mini-Golf, Astronomy, plus interesting and historic nearby locations including Carman's Tunnel, North British Mine, Maldon Museum, Victorian Goldfields Steam Railway, Mount Tarrangower, Gold Panning, Yabbying, BMX Bike Track, Swimming Pool and many more. |
